Jose Carrillo’s impressive career comes from his innate ability to balance creativity with strategy. As Executive Art Director, Jose’s creative input, expertise and guidance in all areas of design help build a dynamic and dependable design team at IMG that approaches all projects with enthusiasm and creativity.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Jose graduated from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana with a bachelor’s degree in industrial design before continuing his education in San Diego. With over two decades of design experience, Jose’s impressive portfolio includes clients such as H&R Block, Dr. Scholl’s, Union Bank, Wells Fargo, PFF Bank & Trust, The Fish Market and San Diego State University, among others.
Jose’s innovative work over the past two decades has been recognized throughout the industry, earning him ten ADDY Awards and three SAM Awards. He continues to lead with passion and purpose as he guides the next generation of designers at IMG.
